Aircraft Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Beach
A helicopter flying over a well-attended coastal shoreline abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Videos uploaded online capture the aircraft beginning to twirl above the beach then plunging in the direction of the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged between palm groves and a staircase adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters reported five individuals were taken to hospital comprising two who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three individuals on the street were harmed. Information on their condition were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
